Friends of the Parnkalla Walking Trail liaises closely with EPNRM & DENR re identification and plotting of rare and culturally significant flora and of declared weeds, also for technical advice.
Services
- Reports to the City of Port Lincoln regarding maintenance and safety issues, illegal dumping & vandalism, conservation work necessary in the adjacent reserves
- Removal of weeds and revegetation with endemic native flora
- Rubbish Collection
- Production of the Parnkalla Walking Trail Brochure & Interpretive signage
- Guiding local and visiting groups eg bird/plant groups along the trail
- Raises community awareness through displays at various functions, venues and via the media
