There is a radio base operating in Port Augusta at this time, together with a back up base, the mobile phone is monitored 24/7. Repeater channel 82 is available to those using a VHF Radio, this will get Port Pirie CoastGuard Radio Base, Whyalla Sea Resuce Radio Base and Wallaroo Radio Base., Flotilla Meeting held @ 7.30pm every 3rd Wed in August, October, December, February, April and June at the Salvation Army Hall, Jervois Street. Everyone welcome to attend.
