- Tuition for beginners of all ages on most concert band/orchestral instruments
- Playford Youth Band Open to all instruments, primary and high school children of any age and skill welcome, mix of contemporary music, well known favourites and similar. Parents welcome
- Playford Pioneers (Concert Band) Open to concert band/orchestral instruments, all ages and skills welcome, mix of movie/musical themes, well known favourites and similar
- Playford Classics (Classical Ensemble) Open to all instruments suited to classical ensembles, strings particularly welcome, all ages, all skill levels, mix of well known classical favourites from composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky etc
- Filigree (Folk Band) Open to folk instruments including tin whistles, flutes, accordions (button or piano), guitars, violins, bodhran drums (any 'C' instrument), welcoming all with an ability to read simple music and a commitment to practise, playing folk music from around the world
- Showband (Concert Band) Open to concert band/orchestral instruments, all ages and skills welcome, mix of marches, classical, well known themes and similar
- Playford Singers (Choir) Open to all ages and vocal ranges, many different musical styles and pieces sung
