- Provide a site for amateur radio repeaters, beacons and news broadcasts
- A meeting place for discussion and demonstration of amateur radio techniques along with social activities related to amateur radio
- Conduct classes and instruction in radio theory to qualify for Amateur Radio Certificate of Proficiency (this allows own personal call sign)
