- Opportunities for residents to become a volunteer member to complete individual projects or participate in the general workshop projects
- Provide supervised access to community groups to develop workshop skills
- Provide a repair or small project service to the community at very reasonable prices - proceeds assist in maintaining and upgrading equipment
- Produce some articles for sale
- The Little Shed Dwellers - groups of primary school children attend once a week to paint, glue and create in a fun environment
