- Provide boarding facilities for dogs and cats and offers reduced rates to members and pensioners
- Selection of dogs and cats needing homes. Price includes first vaccination, desexing, worming and microchip
- Cages are available for hire for the trapping of unwanted, sick or injured stray cats and possums. Permit required for possum traps
- Marine Rescue Unit for the rescue and rehabilitation of sea mammals and birds
- Garden of Remembrance for ashes of deceased pets
- TLC volunteer care program - assisting to care for dogs and cats housed at Lonsdale
- Administers the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act
