Services
- Housing SA brings together the services of the former South Australian Housing Trust, Aboriginal Housing Authority and South Australian Community Housing Authority.
- Through Housing SA, people will be able to get information about all housing and related services provided by Government and will be assisted as they consider the housing choices available to them. Housing SA will also provide information and referral to many non-government housing agencies and support services. These include:
- Public Rental Housing including the Aboriginal Rental Housing Program
- Community Housing Programs
- Financial assistance for private rental housing
- Information on Homestart home loans
- Advice and referral to emergency or supported accommodation and homelessness services
- Information about a range of support programs
- Housing SA will focus primarily on housholds and families who have high needs and require support to access and maintain housing.
