Services
- There are 2 volunteer divisions in Marion:
- Adult Division - for people over 18 years, meet Wed 7.30pm. Provide first aid training and patient care
- St John volunteers come from all walks of life. Through their shared dedication and professionalism they save lives of many people each year, and east the pain of thousands more.
- St John Volunteers are readily mobilised to provide first aid as part of the Start Disaster Plan - working alsongside the other emergency services during bushfires and floods.
- Generally however, you will find St John at sproting events, concerts and large public gatherings providing skilled and caring first and and somthimes saving lives.
- But the demands of running St Joh's voluntteer programs are high and funding is always needed: for uniforms, transport and first aid supplies; life-saving oxygen and analgesic gas equipment; for heartstart defibrillators.
- Hall available for hire (including toilets and kitchen).
