Services
- Concerned with restoring the Sturt River area to pre-1836 vegetation
- Activities include seed collecting, weeding, plant raising, planting, water monitoring, general care of the creek environment
- Work with concerned residents, Kaurna people, Warriparinga Management Committee and various community groups to maintain the integrity of the area and retain open space
- Meetings held monthly
- The group supports the National Parks and Wildlife Service assisting with ideas and labour for parks maintenance and development by organising regular activities in the park including seed collecting, weeding, planting and general care of the park.
- Promote community awareness of the Park and the value of open space.
- Business meeting also held regularly.
- Intend to offer guided tours for special interest groups such as schools, tourists etc, as the group developes.
- Members and supporters determine their ownd contribution and extnet to activity within the group's overall goads.
