Comment

The present church was built in 1904.  The Congregation began in 1852.  A Lutheran school commenced on the grounds in 1858 with J. Dallwitz being the first teacher.  Sevices were first held in a private home until the first church was built in 1859. The Lemke organ built by Daniel Lemke was installed in 1875 and is still used today.
