Swine Flu Hotline
SA Health has confirmed two cases of Human Swine Influenza (H1N1 09) in South Australia., On a national level, the Department of Health and Ageing has raised the Pandemic Alert Level across Australia to CONTAIN. This recognises that Australia has a small number of swine flu cases and at least one human-to-human transmission. The aim of this phase is to contain the spread of the virus within Australia., SA Health's advises that adopting simple hygiene measures will help to protect against seasonal coughs, colds and seasonal flu. Wash hands and wipe down surfaces regularly, cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze and wash your hands afterwards.
