People with a terminal illness or life-limiting disease, their families and carers
Access
For wheelchairs, including toilets
Comment
Provides care to patients in hospital or their place of residence. Volunteers provide practical and emotional support
Services
- Palliative care - including medical, nursing and allied health care, support and counselling to patients, their families and carers
- Bereavement support and counselling
- Day centre for palliative care patients - provides respite for carers and social activities for patients
- Liaison with Royal District Nursing Service (SA) Inc., domiciliary care services, general practitioners and other community services
- Social work services
