Comment
People typically stay 2-3 weeks. The service is designed to assist and benefit HIV positive clients and their carers. Some clients are admitted as a intermediate step between hospital and home. Others stay at Cheltenham Place for respite from isolation or difficult social or home circumstances. Nursing input is provided by the Royal District Nursing Service. Clients can be self-referred or referred by carers or health or community workers
