Aims to enable people with mental illness and their carers, to share fully in the community with the same rights and opportunities as other citizens
Services
- Activity programs provide social and recreational options and group programs based on rehabilitation and recovery9
- Carer education program
- Community education on mental illness and mental health - for consumers, carers, community groups, educators and service providers
- Counselling - telephone and face-to-face
- Information and referral - including library, resources, fact sheets, website, newsletter
- Meals service - daily lunch at Wayville and Panangga activity centres
- Opportunity shops - Sunflower Shops at Christie Downs, Goodwood, Seacombe Gardens
- Peer Worker Program - training and support for people living well with mental illness who use their life experience to support and inspire others affected by mental illness
- Personal Helpers & Mentors - metropolitan regions and South East SA for people aged 16 and over whose lives are severely affected by mental illness
- Therapeutic groups program - self management, health and well being groups
- Respite program for individuals or their carer including respite residential accommodation program
- Support groups for carers and consumers
- Volunteer program - volunteers assist in a range of programs and services
- Well Ways family support and education program
