Family Service offers emotional and practical support to families of children with cancer
Services
- Accommodation at Prospect for country families while a child is receiving treatment; respite accommodation at Glenelg; holiday accommodation at Victor Harbor
- Education assistance - Scholarship Scheme provides financial support for young people entering the work force; Home Tutor Scheme provides home tutoring for children who are re-entering school after long treatment periods
- Family Service - support provided by trained volunteers for families whose child is receiving treatment or is in remission and for bereaved families
- Financial assistance for families whose child is receiving treatment
- Funeral assistance and bereavement support
- Sibling support - GSE (Great Sibling Escape) Program offers informal monthly outings for brothers and sisters of children with cancer
