Eligibility
Families of children aged from 20 weeks gestation to 6 years who have died suddenly and unexpectedly from SIDS or other causes
Services
- Professional counselling for parents and family members; Aboriginal Bereavement Support worker
- Crisis intervention - workers are available to attend sudden unexpected deaths within 100km of Adelaide and provide telephone support to remote areas
- Peer support from trained volunteers to support bereaved families
- Fund raising for research, education and support
- Public education and awareness - including safe sleeping program, training for health professionals, community outreach
