- Rehabilitation and treatment services in Joslin, Norwood and at The Woolshed
- Clean Needle Program Program sites provide sterile needles and syringes, sharp disposal containers and information (phone ADIS)
- Needle Clean Up Hotline, tel. 1300 131 340 - statewide service for reporting incidences of needles and syringes found in public places; advice on how to dispose of needles and syringes safely and how to deal with a needlestick injury
- Library, tel. 8274 3361 - public access to resources on alcohol and other drug topics, teaching resources and information leaflets
- Pharmacotherapies Research Unit - offers methadone and buprenorphine maintenance programs and outpatient counselling for opioid-dependent clients. Outpatient counselling services are also available for stimulant and other drug problems. Pharmacotherapies services are also provided by appointment at the following community locations:

- General Practitioner Program, tel. 1300 131 340 - provides link between DASSA and general practitioners, to increase knowledge and skills of GPs in alcohol and other drug related areas
- Driver Assessment Clinic, tel. 1300 171 220 - assesses all second and subsequent offenders who have been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs or exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol within a three year period
- Drug & Alcohol Clinical Advisory Service (DACAS), tel. 8363 8633 - specialist drug and alcohol medical officer provides 24 hour telephone advice to GPs and other health professionals who are managing drug and/or alcohol affected patients
- Drug & Alcohol Resource Unit, tel. 8222 5473 - advises and assists staff of the hospital to manage patients who have problems related to their use of alcohol and drugs, and provides an outpatient rehabilitation service for patients
- Obstetric Unit, tel. 8130 7500, 1300 13 1340 - provides consultation, liaison, client advocacy, education, clinical assessment and treatment for substance-using women prior to and during pregnancy, and in the postnatal period
- Research into alcohol and other drug related issues
- Withdrawal Services – assessment and medical detoxification in a supportive environment for people withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs. tel. 1300 13 1340
