Children and young people from birth to 25 with vision and/or hearing impairments or who are Deafblind, who may also have additional disabilities, and their families

  • Early intervention service: vision impairment - a service for babies and young children who are blind or vision impaired and may have additional disabilities, including support for families in providing their child with opportunities to realise their developmental potential
  • Assistive Technology Service - technology training and support, computer hardware and software and other technologies to assist clients in education and daily living
  • Auditory Processing Intervention Clinic - therapy program for children diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder, consisting of individual and group therapy sessions focusing on phonological awareness and literacy development, improving language and listening skills, parental coaching and support
  • Auditory verbal service - enabling children with hearing impairment to learn to talk through listening
  • Family counselling - small group support and counselling for families and individuals who are Deaf/hearing impaired and/or blind/vision impaired
  • Family support services for deaf/hearing impaired, aged 0-8 and 9-25 - including information, advocacy, home visits; for blind/vision impaired aged 5-25
  • Mentor program - helping young people to become independent and achieve their goals
  • Occupational therapy - assessment and intervention for eligible children
  • Recreation service - support for integration into mainstream clubs
  • Speech pathology - communication assessment and intervention
  • Youth work program - for young people aged 16-25 who are deaf/hearing impaired and/or blind/vision impaired
