Gawler Youth Worker Network aims to encourage cooperation and information sharing between individuals, agencies and community groups who provide services to young people in Gawler. Regular meetings are held and activities are facilitated in consultation with young people, Gawler Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is open to young people aged 12 to 25 years. YAC is an official committee of Council and meets on the first Mon of the month. YAC's overall purpose is to provide a forum that engages young people in a meaning way to raise awareness of youth issues and provide a communication link to Council.
