- Active in campaigning and projects concerning environment, sustainability and heritage issues in Gawler and surrounding areas.
- Member of the Conservation Council of South Australia
- Revegetation, restoration, Landcare projects at Parridla Taikondi, Clonlea, Dead Man's Pass and along rivers
- Historic Gawler database project
- Compiling an inventory of flora and fauna sightings in the Gawler area
- Compiling a book on growing local native plants - promoting biodiversity in gardens, blocks and farms
