The Council's main source of income is derived from rates. Every rateable property is issued with a rate notice in July each year. The amount payable for each property is calculated by multiplying the capital value of the property by the rate-in-the dollar. The Valuer General provides Council with the valuations for each property. The Council sets the rate-in-the dollar each year. For further information contact the Council Rates Officer on 8366 9206.
