Eligibility
Woodside Seniors Community Centre is a service for clients registered with the Adelaide Hills Community Health Service. Clients can be referred by a doctor, case manager, family member, or self-referral. Clients will then be contacted by the coordinator and offered days of attendance according to client or carer need.
Services
- Woodside Community Seniors Centre provides a secure, caring & supportive environment for seniors and disabled clients from our community. Clients are able to enjoy the benefits of a friendly social day out, on a regular basis in a beautiful rural setting. On each day of the program the centre provides a nutritious two course meal. All meals are prepared on site & we are able to cater for those with specific dietary requirements. There is a small cost for the meal, which is payable on the day of attendance. Transport to & from the centre is available.
- Volunteers are an integral part of our program & involved in many aspects including preparing morning tea & lunch, assisting with the day's activities, driving or assisting on the bus, & providing social interaction with the clients.
