- work with those who experience severe, enduring or first episode of mental illness to achieve recovery
- assist clients to live, work and enjoy being in their own community with the greatest level of independence ie. self-manage mental illness
- provide information about and assistance with accessing services and activities offered locally
- provide clients with information about their rights and responsibilities
- referral needed from GP or other health professional/agency
- 18-65 years of age
