- Community orientated school. Focuses on literacy, numeracy, music, SHIP (students with high intellectual potential), the arts, information technology, environment, physical education. Student/teacher ratio of 1:20. Special programmes include LAP, SRC, magazine and environment committees, instrument music and SAPSASA
- Volunteers are always welcome. Areas of need include listening to reading, administration, grounds and student support
