Services
- The garden is looked after by the Camellia Society in conjunction with the national Trust (Mt Lofty Branch) who manage the house.
- Camellia plants, general garden plants, goods, home made and home grown, & Devonshire teas are available. The garden is renowned for its camellias & European trees. It features a century old oak on the State Heritage list.
- The garden is open on the second Sunday in May, & in every Sunday in September, 12 noon - 4 pm. Other viewing times are possible by ringing Lola Benneir, tel 8339 3548
- Volunteering - people who are interested in gardening and the culture of camellia are welcome to join this group. Membership of the management committee, fundraising, helpers for open days and the annual camellia open days in September are particularly invited to contact the group. Other activities include serving afternoon tea, lunches etc and gatekeeping on open days
