Eligibility
Unless otherwise specified, the following services are provided for frail aged and younger people with disabilities and their carers living in the Council area. However, individual assessments are conducted to ensure eligibility

Services
- Home help - short-term cleaning with number of visits based on assessed needs.Spring clean once annually
- Home maintenance - minor tasks only. For larger jobs, contractors utilised. Trades and services register also available. Tel. 8405 6804
- Home modification - limited to simple health and safety requirements. Trades and services register also available. Tel. 8405 6804
- Shopping - short-term assistance only
- Transport - Home Support Van provides door-to-door transport to local shopping centres. Separate Community bus service provides transport on fixed routes throughout the Council for the general community. Donation requested for both services
- Day programs - socially isolated frail aged, people with a very early mild dementia and their carers. Le Fevre Friendship Group meets weekly at the Le Fevre Community Centre for activities. Transport available. No charge
- Day programs - range of social activities for adults with a mild to moderate intellectual disability living in the old Port Adelaide Council area
