Eligibility
Frail aged, younger people with disabilities and their carers who are residents of the City of Campbelltown. Priority given to those at risk of moving to supported accommodation for lack of other supports. Community bus service available to all Council residents

Services
- Home help - cleaning. Short term only, does not include intensive/heavy duty cleaning. Hourly rate applies. Spring clean occasionally for difficult tasks. Trades and services register includes list of private cleaners
- Shopping and banking. Shopping can be undertaken on behalf of client or can accompany them. For banking, client is accompanied. Hourly fee applies
- Respite care - In home. Flexible program. Maximum of 2-3 hours per fortnight.
- Home maintenance - minor work only. May not be available for strata title, Housing SA units, retirement villages, rental properties and group homes. Council pays half of an approved contractor's fee up to a subsidy of $100. Trades and services register available
- Home modification - limited to modifications to improve security and safety. May not be available for strata title, Housing SA units, retirement villages, rental properties and group homes. Council pays half of an approved contractor's fee up to a subsidy of $100. Trades and services register available
- Home safety & security assessment - no charge. Installation of recommended devices may be subsidized
- Transport - free community bus service available Mon - Fri to all residents. Door-to-door service to major local shopping centres and the library, tel. 8366 9235. Note that for safety reasons, trolleys are not permitted on the bus. However storage space is provided for shopping bags and drivers will assist passengers with their shopping. Personal transport available for frail aged, people with disabilities and socially isolated people living in the Council. Dependent upon the availability of volunteers. Provides transport to social groups, medical and therapy appointments Mon - Fri, 9am - 4pm. Fee depending upon trip distance. If volunteer drivers unavailable for a medical appointment and client not eligible for Access Cabs vouchers, Council will subsidize 50% of the taxi fare. For medical appointments, tel. 8366 9209
