Services
- Home help - Domestic assistance is offered in accordance with identifies needs. Hourly rate applies
- Home maintenance - general handyman maintenance with focus on health and safety issues. Hourly rate plus cost of any materials
- Home modification - small jobs with focus on health and safety issues such as installation of grab rails. Occupational therapist assessment required for grab rail installation. Council can refer clients to subsidized/possibly free therapy services, hourly rate plus cost of materials
- Shopping/Banking - see City of Onkaparinga - Transport and Social Support Program
- Safety and security assessments - frail aged and younger people with disabilities who are home owners or Housing SA tenants. No charge for assessments. Installation of recommended items available for hourly rate plus cost of materials
- Gardening - general garden assistance. Basic assistance with a focus to reduce ongoing garden requirements. Hourly rate plus cost of materials.
- Garden Volunteers may be available to assist the frail aged who take pleasure in their gardens. Focus on low maintenance such as minor weeding, sweeping paths, repotting plants. $5 per hour for a team of two volunteers
- Rubbish removal - green waste removal, up to two trailer loads per annum if funding permits. Hourly rate plus cost of dumping fees. Free hard rubbish collection twice annually, tel. 8384 0666 for details

- Transport - personal transport for medical appointments may be available through the City of Onkaparinga - Community Transport Program, the Noarlunga Volunteer Transport Service, the Willunga Community Bus or the City of Onkaparinga - Transport and Social Support Program
