Frail aged and younger people with disabilities and their carers in the Gawler Council
Fees
Hourly fee for all services except outings (donation requested) and friendly visiting (no charge)
Services
- Home help - short and long term cleaning. Client re-assessed after 6 visits. Long term cleaning, 1.5 hrs per fortnight. Intensive/spring cleaning may be available
- Personal care - short term assistance with showering, dressing and other tasks. Client re-assessed after 6 visits
- Shopping/banking - short term only. May be done on client's behalf or client accompanied. Client re-assessed after 6 visits. Hourly fee
- Friendly visiting - subject to volunteer availability
- Home maintenance - minor works only. Hourly fee plus contribution towards cost of materials
- Home modification - minor works only. Hourly fee plus contribution towards cost of materials
- Gardening - once off only
- Rubbish removal - hourly fee plus dumping costs
- Safety and security assessments
- Social support - outings. Volunteer support and transport may be available. Donation requested

- Home library service - delivery of library items to people who are unable to visit the library, Gawler Public Library
- Information and referral - Gawler Public Library
- Transport to medical appointments may be available from the Gawler Health Service Inc - Community Services Clinic Car Service
