- Friendly, supportive environment which assists schools to provide opportunities for students with special needs to develop their personal qualities and vocational skills in preparation for the transition from school to the most appropriate post school option
- Support and provision of programs for schools including writing skills for work, work education, job seeking skills, using the telephone
- Referral is made by a school counsellor or special education teacher
- For schools seeking support for students with disabilities who have experienced dfficulties over an extended period, are aged fifteen or older and who have a Negotiated Education Plan in place
