Volunteers are required to assist with friendly visiting, shopping, outings and respite for carers. Time commitment is only 1-2 hours per fortnight.
Services
- St John volunteers offer friendship and support to the frail elderly and young people with a disability who are living independently in the community
- Social visits, shopping, practical help around the home, outings and respite for carers
- Operates in seven areas across metropolitan Adelaide: Burnside, Enfield, Marion, Norwood Payneham and St Peters/Campbelltown, Onkaparinga, Tea Tree Gully/Salisbury and Western Suburbs
