People of all ages are welcome. Karate training is quite demanding, participants need to be capable of strenuous exercise

JKA practices traditional Japanese shotokan karate and maintains the values and culture that go hand-in-hand with the tradition of Japanese karate. JKA has frequent visits from highly ranked Japanese karate experts who conduct seminars and grading exams. All JKA dojos in South Australia are run by experienced local instructors. Being affiliated with a worldwide organisation (JKA World Federation and JKA of Australia), all belts attained are recognised throughout the world. JKA SA conducts regular tournaments, giving our competitive members the opportunity to compete at club, state, national or global levels
