To implement the Cultural Strategy for the City in conjunction with key stakeholders and to increase the opportunities for residents to participate in a range of cultural activities throughout the City. This will be achieved by: ensuring the continued support and operation of the City of Salisbury's Cultural Advisory Sub Committee, providing formal responses to Council on issues relating to cultural development, cultural events and visual art within the community, organising and coordinating a program of cultural events and activities throughout the City, organising exhibitions in the John Harvey Gallery, maintaining links with the Creative Communities network and other appropriate agencies and maintaining of a Salisbury artist register for both performing and visual artists
