Greenfields Wetlands is home to 150 species of birds, 5 species of fish, 4 species of frog, yabbies, long necked tortoise and numerous aquatic invertebrate and fauna and was one of the first large constructed urban wetlands in Australia. Tours of the Greenfield Wetlands can be made by contacting the Water Systems Division on tel. 8258 0862. Tours last approximately 1 hour. For school bookings tel. 8258 9761. Self guided tours from the Watershed and Cafe are also available
