The Penfield Model Engineers Society is a volunteer organisation that has built and operates a miniature railway as well as a Quarter Scale Speedway and Boat Pond. The club is open to energetic new members (model engineers) who have an interest in maintaining club facilities as well as model building., Modelling interests include miniature/model trains with either live steam or diesel outline locomotives. (Gauges are 7 1/2 inch, 5 inch, Garden Gauge - 45mm and HO/HON3. Other modelling interests include radio-controlled boats, quater-scale radio controlled cars and model railway trains
