SAcommunity provides links to lots of interesting and useful websites to make it easy to locate web-based resources that are relevant to people living in South Australia.

It also provides an easy search facility that allows you to find information about community services and organisations from a number of key South Australian community information websites through a single search.

Community information is information that assists people to identify and gain access to services and programs to meet their basic needs and to participate in their local or wider community.

It includes information about government, non-government, community based and similar private sector organisations that provide services for the community in the areas of health, welfare, housing, education, community participation, information, legal services, arts and recreation.

SAcommunity is provided by Community Information Strategies Australia Inc. (CISA), the peak community information organisation in South Australia.

CISA operates on the belief that people need continuous access to appropriate and accurate information in order to make informed decisions and to participate fully in society. CISA provides essential community services information and training and support for community information providers throughout South Australia.

CISA is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation. CISA receives an operating grant from Arts SA.
